Well-maintained housing
The quality and comfort of housing is a priority. The condition of the apartments is checked each time a new tenant arrives and renovations are carried out if necessary. We also carry out regular periodic inspections every two years. Larger renovations of the properties are carefully planned taking into account the life cycle of the property and the comfort of the residents.
Smoking only allowed in the smoking area
Smoking is only allowed in the yard in a designated smoking area, if there is one in the property. Smoking is prohibited inside buildings and on balconies.
Resident events
Sivakka organises many free or low-cost resident events for the enjoyment of residents. Residents also organise their own events in the buildings.
Responsible
Housing accounts for up to a third of the carbon footprint of a person living in Finland. This includes heating, electricity, water consumption and household waste. Sivakka pays particular attention to these issues. Sivakka uses carbon-neutral products for its electricity and district heating, which have significantly reduced carbon emissions. Sivakka encourages and guides its residents to use less water and to recycle household waste efficiently. Shared cars will be offered as a more sustainable mobility option and electric car charging points will be built for residents.
