Environmental expert

Some of our properties have a voluntary environmental expert who is there to help the tenants with environmental issues, such as energy, water and electricity consumption. Reducing the consumption reduces personal costs and helps in saving the environment. The environmental expert cooperates with the housing manager, property maintenance and other environmental and energy experts. Sivakka arranges energy expert trainings annually that are open for everyone.

We are also committed to national energy efficiency agreements. Our aim is to reduce energy consumption in our properties by upgrading to energy efficient systems, monitoring the energy consumption and helping our tenants reduce their carbon footprint. By improving our energy efficiency we also improve the standard of living for our tenants. The formula is pretty simple, really: the lower the energy costs are, the lower the rent is!
