Haukipudas – Kello

Haukipudas – Kello

Kello used to be a big hamlet back in the days and is now a part of Haukipudas. “Kello” means “bell” in Finnish and some people claim the name comes from the church bell that chimed across the whole village. Nowadays Kello is a beautiful area close to the sea and Virpiniemi sports facilities, surrounded by nature. Grocery stores and other services are located in Kiviniemi and the centre of Haukipudas, neither of which are far away.
